After hearing that students camp out in a tent village for basketball season, Catherine, a native New Yorker, decided to put her curiosity to use and head down South for four years. At Duke, Catherine majored in English, Markets & Management Studies, Tailgate with a capital T and basketball, and grew increasingly interested in the media. A freelance writer based in New York, Catherine covers everything from entertainment, arts, culture, anything celebrity, and gluten free lifestyles all while writing a weekly column on American Idol for WeekInRewind.com, managing her entertainment blog, The Cat Attack and serving as a regular contributor on various blogs. As an entertainment professional, Catherine has worked at MTV, Nickelodeon and Miramax Films in various marketing and casting capacities, and strongly believes she discovered some of the gems on the series "Jersey Shore."
